The Village of Wabamun is located on the northeast shore of Lake Wabamun, approximately 20 minutes west of Stony Plain, 45 minutes west of the City of Edmonton, 3 hours east from Jasper, and 4 hours north of Calgary. The Via Rail stops in Edmonton, the Greyhound stops in Stony Plain and the International Airport is located in Nisku, AB, approximately one hour's driving distance from Wabamun.
